Cae Coch Sulphur Mine
- The Geological Conservation Review records the Cae Coch massive stratabound pyrite deposit as of controversial origin, variously interpreted as an altered ooidal ironstone, an epigenetic fracture-fill and a kuroko-type volcanogenic exhalative deposit, with the most recent examination classing it as a syn-diagenetic inhalative body formed by bacterial sulphate reduction in anoxic muds. (disputed)
- A June 2018 report describes vividly coloured mineral deposits and acidic pools in the upper levels, comparing the interior to 'being inside a volcano', while noting the sulphur smell was much fainter than expected and that the mine has two natural exits allowing air to circulate. (uncertain)
Chwarel Ddu Quarry
- Chwarel Ddu is believed to have opened between 1800 and 1805, the earliest slate quarry in the Lledr Valley. (disputed)
- Sporadic working at Chwarel Ddu took place from the late eighteenth century. (disputed)
Hafna Mine
- The Geograph record gives the mill complex an original construction date of 1879, with working ceasing around 1915. (disputed)
- The Gwydyr Forest record describes the stepped mill as dating from 1889–1905, of French design, and powered successively by water, steam and electricity. (disputed)
Parc Mine
- A 2017 report describes numerous ore chutes and dangerous false floors in the upper levels, with some collapsed sections dropping 70 feet or more, and notes that Level 2 was used for scientific pendulum experiments studying coastal deformation in 1968 before being sealed. (uncertain)
- The mine was formed by amalgamating older workings on the north–south Gors and Fucheslas lodes; the Gors Vein is 12 to 30 feet wide and filled with granular quartz carrying galena and sphalerite, and the ore shoot worked from the Gors Shaft is reputed to have yielded 16,000 tons of lead concentrates alone.
