On 25 July 1892 three men were killed at Tylor's pit, Tylorstown, in the Rhondda Fach, when a tram they were pushing left the rails and dislodged the timber props, bringing down the roof.

Cause
A tram left the rails and knocked out timber props, causing a fall of roof.
What happened
Three men were crushed when the tram they were pushing came off the rails and dislodged the props holding the roof, which fell on them; a fourth man was injured.
