Langness Mine
- Mining for metals on the Isle of Man probably began as early as the Bronze Age, with early sites identified at Langness and Bradda Head, where copper could be seen outcropping in the cliffs. (uncertain)
Snaefell Mine
- An exploration report from July 2009 found the mine shaft already sealed behind a locked gate, with surface buildings including the former mine captain's house and a chimney still standing. (uncertain)
- The BGS mine-plans catalogue holds a Mining Remediation Authority abandonment plan titled 'Snaefell' (catalogue OM5521, Lead Ore, dated 1908); the catalogue gives no location and the plan's details do not clearly tie it to this working, so it may belong to another of the same name. (uncertain)
