Cause
A disused heap of coal and other material collapsed onto the men loading it.
What happened
John Gibson, aged 19, and Henry Robinson, a boy, both of Coxhoe, were loading up a disused heap of coal and other material when it fell on them and killed them. Four other men were seriously injured.
