Mines in Perth and Kinross
Perth and Kinross's Tomnadashan mine, above Loch Tay, was a short-lived and largely unsuccessful 19th-century attempt to extract copper, gold and sulphur; today it's better known as the filming location for the Cave of Caerbannog in Monty Python and the Holy Grail than for anything it actually produced.
