MineArchiveStang and Cleasby Mines
The company formed in 1908 to work new ore found at Slot Hole and Nut Hole at Faggergill, connecting its workings into the existing Faggergill levels; registered as Stang & Cleasby Lead Mines Ltd, it raised 505 tons of concentrates to 1912 and was wound up in 1914, the last lead-mining enterprise in Arkengarthdale.
