British Plaster Board Limited
Better known as BPB, the company that consolidated most of the British gypsum and plasterboard industry through the 20th century, buying Gypsum Mines Limited in 1936 and reorganising Mountfield onto regular room-and-pillar working. Its British Gypsum division remains the operating name in the UK; BPB was bought by Saint-Gobain in 2005.
