William Wharton Burdon

Of Hartford House, County Durham. He held Team Colliery on Eighton Moor under lease from Lord Ravensworth in 1844, his family having held it since 1796; the colliery passed through W. W. Burdon in the 1860s and A. E. Burdon in the 1880s.
