William Roberts / Clogau Gold of Wales Ltd

William Roberts rediscovered the abandoned Clogau St David's gold mine in 1989 and, finding workable gold still present, founded Clogau Gold of Wales Ltd in 1992 to mine and craft it into jewellery; extraction ceased in 1998 once costs outweighed the diminishing yield.
