The firm, with Frank Rigby as managing partner, that sank Diglake (Audley) Colliery in 1870 as lessees of Sir Thomas Boughey and worked it and two other collieries in the Audley district; Rigby accepted responsibility at the 1895 inquiry for stopping the boreholes ahead of the Ten Feet workings.
