Wethered, Cossham and Wethered

The Bristol coalfield firm to which Brandy Bottom was leased in the 1850s to pump and ventilate the adjacent Parkfield Colliery; Handel Cossham of the partnership went on to control the Kingswood and Parkfield collieries until his death in 1889.
