MineArchiveWelsh Granite Company
The company formed by the owners who took over the Yr Eifl workings about 1850, opened Trefor Granite Quarry and built the village of Trefor from 1854 for its workforce. Merged with the Penmaenmawr and Llanfairfechan quarries in 1911 to form the Penmaenmawr and Welsh Granite Co.
