Tredegar Iron & Coal Co. Ltd

The successor to the Tredegar Iron Company of 1800, which ceased making iron in 1891 and went on developing and working collieries in the Sirhowy and Rhymney valleys until nationalisation. McLaren Colliery at Abertysswg was one of its pits, and its own wagons are lettered 'Tredegar' in a photograph of the works taken about 1901.
