Sneyd Colliery and Brickworks Co. Ltd.

The limited company formed in 1881 out of the older Sneyd Colliery Company and the business of C. and J. May, working the Sneyd pits, a brickworks and a silica works at Burslem; H.M. Inspector for North Staffordshire described it in 1896 as one of the most considerable industrial establishments in the district.
