Pooley Hall Colliery Company Limited

Returned as the owner of the colliery in the official 1880 list of collieries at work, and formally constituted by a syndicate in 1897. The concern grew to include a brickworks, and held the pit apart from the period of Ministry of Fuel and Power control during the First World War.
