Poltimore Copper and Gold Mining Co
Formed by William Washington Mansell to reopen the mine in 1852 as the Poltimore Mine, initially pursuing the gold known to occur within the copper lodes before reverting to copper working when gold extraction proved uneconomic by 1855.
