North Wales Iron and Manganese Company

Formed in 1903 to develop the Benallt mine, alongside the British Manganese Company at the adjoining Rhiw. It reworked Benallt from 1904 on newly proved reserves and, when those ran thin around 1914, opened the Nant orebody above Porth Ysgo.
