MineArchiveMorris and Perry Ltd
Formed when Sidney Morris, from near Yeovil, and his son-in-law George Perry took over Gurney Slade quarry in 1962, having been customers of it. The company still operates the quarry, which can supply up to two million tonnes of limestone aggregate a year.
