Kennedy Brothers
A Furness mining and ironworks firm controlled by the Kennedy family, who held the mineral leases at Roanhead from before 1857 across three generations: Charles Storr Kennedy, his grandson Myles Burton Kennedy (also chairman of the North Lonsdale Ironworks Company from 1889 until his death in 1928), and then Myles Burton's son Nigel.
