Joseph Claypon
Of the banking house of Garfit & Claypon in Boston, Lincolnshire, and John Christie’s principal creditor; most of Christie’s assets including the Brecon Forest Tramroad passed to him after the 1827 bankruptcy, and he built the bank of seven lime kilns at Twyn-disgwylfa between 1836 and 1842.
