Islip Iron Co. Ltd

Formed in 1869, began pig iron production at Islip Ironworks in 1873, and reconstructed as a limited company in 1903; owned or leased most of the land within a ring of five villages around Islip before passing to Stewarts & Lloyds in 1932.
