Hungry Chert Quarries

The business that worked chert in the Mouldside area of Arkengarthdale from 1932 until the early 1950s, opencast in the old lead hushes around Hungry Hush and underground in newly driven levels. It was the same concern that had worked the Old Moulds lead level for chert from 1922.
