Hilton Main and Holly Bank Collieries Ltd
Formed on 1 July 1932 when C. A. Nelson, chairman of Hartley Main Collieries at Cramlington, bought the Holly Bank Coal Co.; registered on the Cannock Road, Wolverhampton, it reopened Holly Bank in 1935, ran brickworks at Hilton Main and employed about 1,270 people across the two pits in 1940.
