Ferrubron Manufacturing Company

A paint and pigment manufacturer that took over the Teign Valley iron ore operations in 1902 and concentrated them on Great Rock and Kelly, the two mines producing micaceous haematite. Its interest was never in iron: the flaked ore went into rust-resisting paint, and Ferrubron ran Great Rock on that trade until 1969.
