Duffryn Rhondda Company

The original owners of Duffryn Rhondda Colliery in the Afan Valley, recorded by Coflein as the Duffryn Rhondda Coal Company, who opened the slants and, by Coflein's account, the first sinkings before 1880; taken over by the Duffryn Rhondda Colliery Company Limited on 12 January 1903.
