Daniel Watney

Proprietor of the Gwendraeth Colliery at Pontyberem, Carmarthenshire, at the time of the inundation of 10 May 1852. The Times reported that he met the immediate needs of the bereaved families while a public subscription for the widows and orphans was being raised. Nothing further is recorded of the company or the person.
