MineArchiveCaprington & Auchlochan Collieries Ltd
Operated Auchlochan Colliery in Lanarkshire from around 1905 and the Caprington pits near Kilmarnock, incorporated as a limited company by 1915 and in liquidation by the early 1930s. Hugh Shaw Dunn was managing partner and John Gibson certified manager of Caprington No. 41 pit at the time of the 1909 disaster.
