Bullcliffe Wood Colliery Co., Ltd.

Company that worked the drift mines at Bretton West near Wakefield from 1927, with its registered office on Denby Dale Road, Bretton. In 1933 it worked the Barnsley seam for about 25,000 tons a year of gas, household and steam coal. The colliery passed to the National Coal Board at nationalisation.
