Bristol Mineral and Land Company
Formed in 1910 and for most of the 20th century the dominant celestine producer in the world, working the Yate deposits. It mechanised the diggings after the Second World War when hand labour ran short, and closed the industry in 1994 when the workable ground was exhausted.
