Bent Colliery Co., Ltd

Founded when James Stedman Dixon leased the Bent Colliery in 1872; went on to sink Hamilton Palace Colliery at Bothwellhaugh from 1884 and later, around 1925-1930, took over the working of Cadzow Colliery too.
