Bedwas Colliery Company
The company that leased 1,475 acres on Mynydd y Grug in 1909 and sank Bedwas Navigation Colliery, engaging Edmund L. Hann to design it and Fred Piggott of Caerphilly to sink it. Sir Samuel Instone, founder of the Instone Air Line, became its controlling shareholder in 1921.
