MineArchiveBarrow Mining Company
Formed by the Portinscale mining engineer Henry Vercoe in 1883 to work Barrow Mine in Newlands. It sank a new shaft to 30 fathoms and erected a 60-foot waterwheel, and was in liquidation by 1887.
