Fanny Prescott Radley

The widow of the St Helens colliery owner James Radley, who ran Lea Green Colliery herself for a few years after his death in 1885 and then created the Sutton Heath and Lea Green Collieries Company Limited in 1890, the Radley family keeping a controlling interest. Her husband had named a saddle tank locomotive Fanny after her in 1876.
