Wenvoe Iron Ore Company

Recorded by the Mining Journal in 1859 as selling several thousand tons of Wenvoe haematite ore at good prices, and again in 1919 — the last report of mining at the site — with four people employed above ground. Whether the two entries represent a continuous concern or the reuse of a name sixty years apart is not established by anything read for this record.
