Waen Nantyglo Colliery Company
Formed by Evan Williams of Cardiff in 1911 (the underlying business dated to 1875, incorporated 1911); became the dominant coal operator of the Brynmawr/Waunafon outcrop, controlling seven levels and 803 men by 1917, and ran Clydach and the neighbouring Llammarch level jointly until their 1947 closure.
