Sir Thomas Hamilton

King's Advocate and landowner at Hilderston, who obtained the original 1606 lease to work minerals in Linlithgowshire and brought in Bevis Bulmer and Thomas Foulis to develop the mine, before being displaced by the Crown in early 1608.
