Sandwell Park Colliery Co.
Formed in 1870 to sink the first shaft east of Roebuck Lane into the concealed South Staffordshire coalfield. Its success led to the formation of the Hamstead Colliery Co.; it sank the Jubilee Pit from 1897, and in 1935 the Warwickshire Coal Company arranged to acquire the undertaking.
