Richard Clayton Evans

Proprietor of the small Pottery Colliery near Pengam, worked from 1873 through the shared Glanddu level, and certificated manager of his own colliery; a coroner's jury found him guilty of manslaughter after the 1875 roof fall, but the grand jury threw out the bill.
