Richard Barrow

Staveley ironmaster and coal owner who held the Duke of Devonshire's mineral lease of the manor of Staveley, sank Speedwell, Hopewell, Hollingwood, Springwell and Seymour pits in the 1840s and 1850s, and sold them to the Staveley Coal and Iron Company in 1864.
