Red Gill Mining Company
Leased Red Gill in 1861 and extended the workings, also opening several nearby prospects; recorded production was very small (28 tons of lead ore, 45 tons of copper ore) and the company went bankrupt in 1871, after which the mine saw no further commercial exploitation.
