Measham Collieries Ltd

Established in 1894 to work the Main Coal at Measham and the seams below it, renaming the pit Measham Main Colliery and linking it by tramway to a wharf on the Ashby-de-la-Zouch Canal. It held the colliery until nationalisation in 1947.
