Littledean Woodside Coal Company
Incorporated in February 1873 to acquire the Haywood and Addis Hill collieries, with a capital of £25,000 in 5,000 £5 shares and Edwin Crawshay as chairman. It added the Smith’s Delight gale on the deep side of Haywood Pit, borrowed from the Standard Building Society, and went into liquidation in 1882, being wound up voluntarily in February 1884.
