Leeswood Cannel and Gas Coal Company Ltd
Owner of Leeswood Green colliery in the official return of collieries at work in 1880, where it is spelt Leaswood, and the company whose underground manager John Young was ejected by the men in May 1869 — the quarrel that ended in the Mold Riot. It took over the Julia Pit at Leeswood in August 1862 and subscribed ten pounds to the relief fund after the Flue Pit disaster.
