Jonah Harrop

Of Bardsley House, owner of the Bardsley estate and of its collieries, which he worked as the Bardsley Colliery Company and the Bardsley Coal and Cannel Company, with Copperas House Colliery; he part-financed Holy Trinity Church, Bardsley, in 1844 and became a Deputy Lieutenant of Lancashire in 1852.
