Hinchcliffe Brothers and Co., Ltd.

Of Town Hall Chambers, Fargate, Sheffield, returned in the 1930 List of Mines as the owner of High Sedling at Cowshill in upper Weardale, working fluorspar with six men underground and one at the surface. A Sheffield company on a Weardale fluorspar sett is the steel industry reaching back up the supply chain for its own flux; nothing further about the firm has been found in the sources consulted for this record.
