Lanarkshire coalmasters with pits in the Larkhall and Hamilton areas from before 1863, lessees of the Duke of Hamilton's Home Farm Colliery; the firm also ran the Hareshaw oil works in the 1870s and became Hamilton, McCulloch and Co. Ltd in 1903.
