MineArchiveGillfoot Park Mining Company
The company that sank the first pit at Gillfoot Park, Egremont, and raised the first ore there in 1879. Recorded as owner from 1881 to 1900, and named as the mine's owner in the 1888 List of Mines under the Metalliferous Mines Act. It was succeeded by the Wyndham Mining Company in 1901.
