Forth Iron Company

The ironmaking company of the Forth Ironworks at Oakley in west Fife, for whose workers the village was built in 1846. It worked coal and ironstone pits around Oakley, and is returned against Oakley Colliery in the official Lists of Mines before Oakley Collieries Ltd.
