Edward Hurst Davies

Quarryman and manager who partnered with Frederick Walton to develop Maesygamfa quarry from 1886, becoming sole owner in 1900 until its 1909 closure; also worked at Gartheiniog and later bought the neighbouring Hendreddu quarry outright in 1908.
