The Dudley estate, whose collieries and fireclay mines were worked across South Staffordshire and Worcestershire through the nineteenth century — Coneygre, Foxyards, Himley, Old Park, Ramrod Hall, Round’s Hill, Saltwells and the Wallows among them, all at work in 1880.
